Please join us in extending a warm welcome to our new Vice President of Sales, Thomas "TJ" James.

Why Arco Marine? 

I have worked in the marine industry for more than 30 years, and have always admired ARCO Marine, known as the leader in rotating electrical products. Over the last two years, I have watched ARCO experience a rebirth in the marketplace with a new look, and a continuing vision of providing the best products and services for the marine industry. I joined the ARCO team this year and I want to use my skill sets to help continue the sales and product growth of this legacy company.

What inspired you to pursue a career in the maritime industry? 

I entered the maritime industry a little differently. Years ago, I designed and manufactured electronic assemblies used in marine ignition products. During that role as an engineer, I would talk to technicians about electrical problems and issues they were having in their service department, in hopes of providing solutions. Other career opportunities in this industry opened for me, exposing me to other segments of the overall maritime business, and I knew I wanted to finish my career in this industry. The maritime industry is exciting and challenging, plus you meet some really great people I’m honored to call my friends! 

What are you most looking forward to?

I am excited to join the ARCO team as their sales leader. My primary mission is to take care of the customer…period! 

I’m looking forward to keeping ARCO Marine known as the leader in rotating electrical products, supporting all of our customers so they are profitable, and continuing to nurture growth by product line expansions and sales growth opportunities.
